  Edit to add THEY STILL HAVE NOT FIXED THIS: Response today "Your case has been forwarded to me as Office Manager. First, I want to apologize on behalf of the entire Delaplane Agency for the miscommunication between you and Elaine and also the inconvenience this has caused you and your family. I've looked into why the refund check of $19.90 has not been received by you as it went out on 8/3 and it seems as though the Unit Number was cut off and went to Unit #1. I've contacted Nationwide and requested a stop pay on this refund check that has not been cashed according to their records. I've requested a rush to get a new refund check of $19.90 sent to the correct Unit #147. They have informed that according to their billing guidelines it could take 7-14 days to send a new refund check. I completely understand that is frustrating to hear and if we could issue those at our office then we would certainly do so to speed up this process. I'd be happy to sit down and speak with you if you'd like to come in Monday per your email below." ********************************************************************* Started out really hopeful of this agency. Elaine seemed helpful at first but I made sure to state when I needed to policy to begin due to lack of funds and she went ahead and pushed the payment through causing an overdraft. Instead of depositing the amount back in the day the transaction happened they are "sending me a check". So now my account is in the negative and I have no money to live off of. If you are well off and can deal with their lack of caring, then by all means,use these guys. If you are living paycheck to paycheck (like more than 50% of Americans) I'd go elsewhere!

  I have found over the years that it's very easy to have a very bad experience with insurance companies. Not so with this company. Would definitely recommend. Jessie was very prompt, thorough and easy to communicate with. I told her my situation, she recommended options, explained the policies and also recommended alternatives. I got what I needed and feet good about it. Can't ask for much more.

  I wish I could give more than 5 stars! Jessie saved me over $1300 in flood insurance just by putting in a little extra work that the other companies weren't willing to do for me. Her customer service is second to none and she truly cares about her parents. My friend who is a mortgage officer said "I never have to worry when I see something from Delaplane. The coverage is always spot on!" Thank you so much Jessie and the family for all you do!!

  Jessie, Elaine and Judy are nothing short of top notch in the industry. They treat you like family. They don't just write policies and take your money like many other firms. They will take the time to explain to you your options. And in the rare case that they cannot find better coverage for the money they will not try to sell you anyway. I am a home inspector in the area, and I do a lot of insurance inspections. Since I discovered an Insurance agency that has my best interest in mind I feel I have something very valuable to offer to my clients by recommending this family owned business. I get phone calls from former clients thanking me for the referral because it saved them considerably. Thanks Delaplane Insurance...keep up the good work!
